Licensing FAQs

I offer non-exclusive or exclusive licensing of patterns and illustrations as well as full buyouts depending on availability of artwork.

A non-exclusive license allows you to choose any existing design to be manufactured and sold as finished goods in one category.

The design may also be licensed non-exclusively to other companies at the same time and will remain on sites such as Spoonflower, where other people may purchase the design to print on products such as fabric and wallpaper.

An Exclusive license allows you usage within your product category and will not be licensed to any other brand within this. It may however be licensed in a different category which is not related to your industry.

If you would like complete exclusivity in all categories then I can provide a quote for this as well.

Licenses are standard for 1 year at which point the license will revert to me, but can be extended for a further period.

Once you have filled in my Licensing enquiry form I will reply with the password to access my Licensing gallery.

Patterns and Illustrations are all categorised and have an individual title and code. Please make a note of these for patterns you are interested in.

Once you have selected the patterns you would like further information about please contact me to discuss availability and a quote will then be provided with details of how to proceed with licensing.

Pricing is bespoke so I will require certain information before offering a quote.

Once you have gained access to the licensing gallery and have selected any artwork I will provide a fee based on the license type, length of license and the number of end-products the artwork is to be printed on.

I provide a licensing agreement for all artworks selected which details usage, licensing category, territory and license length as well as any payment and legal information.

Files will always be delivered as high-resolution, layered Photoshop files. Colour changes may be possible - please contact me to discuss.

As the designer, I retain all copyright and ownership of the artwork you license.

I offer full buyouts where the copyright will transfer to you but this is dependent on the availability of a design and will require a more detailed quote.
