Traditional themes with a fresh take

I’m an illustrator, pattern designer and licensed artist from the UK.

I love to create vibrant and ethereal artwork, taking traditional themes such as botanical illustration and food art, and giving them an abstract interpretation with often unexpected colour palettes and intricate textures and details.

I hold a BA (hons) in Fashion Design and a Masters Degree in Film Theory and work on freelance commissions and collaborations as well as licensing my work widely with a range of brands, including Paperchase, Otto Studio, Casetify, Godiva, Orange Circle Studio and Miquelrius.

My work has appeared in stores around the world including Trader Joe’s, TJ Maxx, Tesco and Anthropologie. Known for vibrant artwork and a colourful aesthetic, I am endlessly inspired by nature and a drive to infuse joy into my work.

I am a self-taught digital illustrator and returned to my creative roots in my late 30s. After years of working in academia and studying, I felt a strong urge to create art again. I bought an iPad and the app Procreate and started experimenting. What I discovered was a world that felt so natural to me and I had so much fun developing my style into what it is today.

Aside from drawing, I love drinking coffee, Twin Peaks and being a mum to a feisty 11 year old!
